Johnny Layton’s debut signature shoe, the J-Lay, is loaded with function and style. The concept was to upgrade the Vans classic vulcanized shoe and create a product with more progressive aesthetics influenced by Johnny. The skate shoe is built around the Syndicate last and footbed technology, providing classic waffle grip with improved cushioning. The upper takes cues from retro athletic styling, and the colors and materials were chosen to reflect Johnny’s love of ‘60s and ‘70s rock.
